Help Me Give Away Copies of My Book – World’s Largest Giving Day

Thanks to everyone who took part and helped me give away copies of my book as part of ViSalus’ World’s Largest Day of Giving this past Saturday. Because of you we are donating 1667 additional books to teens and inmates. My hope is that at least one person is inspired to change their lives. #NothingToLose #EverythingToGain
In case you haven’t heard, Visalus launched the “World’s Largest Giving Day” initiative today, December 15, 2012. From the Vi website:
The World’s Largest Giving Day is an opportunity for ViSalus Promoters and Customers to join with people all over the world to make a difference in the lives of others by giving any way they can to anyone who needs it on one day—December 15th, 2012.
In addition to other ways that I am giving, I thought it would be fun to get you involved to help me give away copies of my book, Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gain, to nonprofit organizations serving underprivileged teens and directly to troubled teens who have been in juvenile detention centers or jail.
It’s an opportunity to hopefully inspire them toward a better life.
How can you help?

For every Tweet / Retweet, Facebook Share – LIKE or Comment on this Blog that I get today, I’ll donate a copy of my book to these groups listed above. My team will distribute the books to groups we’re already aware of and perhaps some that you recommend. The opening to this book is raw and pure inspiration. As I read it I remembered my own treacherous teen years — face to face with how hard Ryan climbed, I am in awe and humble — and also clear on the focus it takes to get where you want to be…thank you Ryan for baring your soul to us all.

There is a non-profit called “First Books”, and they send books out all over the country. I also have a group I am working with if you have the book in Spanish…. I would be willing to pay for shipping/transport to C.A.

What a wonderful idea! I hope you can visit the organizations in person after the kids get the book. They really need to have that physical presence of meeting someone and believing in that person’s words and catch the motivation.

Giving feels great! The Lord has trusted me with the ability to share the word as a health evangelist and I get to visit the adults prison. This will be a great book for them to read. Let me know how we can team up to help.
