Ways to Connect with Ryan
The Blair Foundation is a Los Angeles based private charitable organization founded in 2008 by Ryan Blair, who, after having achieved his own financial independence, began supporting causes he felt a personal connection to like juvenile outreach in Ventura County, personally mentoring at-risk youth, and making contributions to charities and religious organizations. As the CEO of ViSalus Sciences, Ryan often donates his staff and resources to the causes they support.
Inspired by the Warren Buffet and Bill and Melinda Gates' call to action for America's wealthiest individuals, Ryan Blair has joined the cause and pledged that ninety percent of his assets will go to the Blair Foundation, to spread the seeds of entrepreneurial education. The Blair Foundation is not a foundation with lots of overhead and employees. The Blair Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization with less than 20% overhead. Ryan Blair personally oversees that its assets go to charitable initiatives.
In 2008, the Blair Foundation donated to Cops Run for Kids, in support of a police officer that played a key role in Ryan's childhood, preventing him from a future life in the California criminal system.
In 2011, Ryan Blair wrote a #1 New York Times bestselling book titled Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gain, a guidebook to rising to success through adversity, in hopes that developing entrepreneurs will, like him, start their own businesses, generate wealth and create jobs.
In 2011, the Blair Foundation joined the Goergen Foundation and spokesperson Percy Miller (Master P) to donate to Johnel Livinston's Urban Born project, and launch the Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gain At-Risk Teens Program to help walk young entrepreneurs through the process of starting their own businesses.
As the CEO of ViSalus, Ryan Blair constantly heads initiatives to ensure the company is supporting social causes across the world. Through the Body by Vi Community Challenge, ViSalus distributors have donated over 839,000 meals to American children and families in need since November 2009. ViSalus has also made contributions to a number of local and global emergency funds like earthquake aid for Haiti and Jamaica, Katrina relief for the floods of New Orleans, and by donating meals to victims of tornados and storms in Alabama and Joplin Missouri.
